What a breath of fresh air! Erica is insightful, listens well to concerns, is very easy to talk to and supportive. I started my journey feeling depleted. Erica has been instrumental in my recovery after completing all of my treatments for breast cancer. She helped me to set intentions and move forward with my health goals. 

My goals were to regain my strength, eat healthier, combat some of the side effects that my medication left me with such as weight gain, fatigue and joint pain.

Erica is very knowledgable about nutrition. She provided guidance with food and meal planning to manage the inflammation in my joints and education and recommendations to help curb my sugar cravings.

In addition to being a terrific and supportive health coach, Erica is also a licensed physical therapist. My right knee was giving me pain even before my cancer treatments, and the maintenance medication I’m taking exacerbates it even more. Erica provided me with an exercise plan to help strengthen the muscles around my knee and to ease the pain. 

Another goal I had was to return to work. My job is very physical. Not only do I need strengthen the muscles around my knees, I also need to regain my upper body strength. Erica showed me how to use my body weight, with education on proper form of several exercises to strengthen properly. I definitely feel stronger after implementing the exercises and have returned to work without issue.

Erica has supported me mentally, physically, inside and out, and spiritually. I am so honored to call her my health coach and dear friend.

I started my journey about a year ago. On my own, I decided to try a plant-based diet, and after two months my cholesterol went down and I was feeling really good, but after about 6 months I noticed I was feeling bloated and didn’t have a lot of energy. I wasn’t sure what I was doing wrong.

I started talking with Erica. She helped me to understand that even though I was eating plant-based, I was still consuming very highly processed foods. She initiated the conversation about nutrition and gave me a few reputable sources that I could look for more information.

With Erica’s guidance and resources, I started to educate myself about proper nutrition. I cut out all the processed foods and focused on real, whole foods. She helped me to incorporate healthy protein sources such as grass-fed beef and wild-caught fish. I swapped out highly processed cooking oils for the beneficial ones, such as olive, coconut and avocado.

I am having so much fun learning new information about nutrition and lifestyle habits. With her help, I have become much healthier, have more energy, better cognitive function and I have built muscle and lost weight/body fat. I look forward to continue my journey to self-improvement and better health!

Since working with Erica, I've implemented dietary changes and rhythmic breathing technique that have improved my blood pressure readings, helped with stress management, increased my energy level and decreased my midday slump. Taking time to eat lunch daily has become a routine.
